Roll cage colour ideas?

Hello all, am thinking of painting the roll cage on my BEC MK Indy a brighter colour, as it is currently black as here:

Now I was thinking of Red, or even a bright Orange, as that should aid people in seeing the car, what are peoples thoughts, or should it just stay black ? And anyone done that?

orange and blue go together really well.
since the body is blue, i'd go with that, and not just plain orange, but flourescent orange!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

why don't you leave the frame black and use coloured padding wrapped around the roll bars, that way you can interchange the colurs as you get bored with them, lol

i tell you what, alex is coming up with some good ideas tonight!
you can get different coloured stuff from places like rally design, merlin motorsport (i think) and demon tweeks.
you could put some along the top bars, and the top of the windscreen type bit, and change colours. excellent idea!

Here's a cheaper option to see what a different colour would look like

Forgive the rough colour replace, I did it on the quick to show the effect.

We have our self-built Phoenix cage finished in orange, as is the whole chassis. Orange also goes very well alongside any carbon panels you may fit. It is our intention to eventually go for a "Gulf" colourscheme.
Geoff.

you need to have the full url in there, like this

[pg=41646]

i've turned the code off in this post, so it won't show a picture, but if i didn't, it would

Blake, It appears I need to change the noise in the middle to UPLOAD?

I copied the address from the address bar at the top of the page and pasted it into the post.

I don't know why it adds different thread data?
