under car applicable

Morning

Are fastners etc under the car tested for radius etc?
I'm looking at having removeable side panels and was thinking of using dome head self tappers but wanted to check about SVA before going any further.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Nope, not tested

Silly really, you could give the person you just ran over a nasty scratch

that’s good i was wondering the same thing i have had to put some of the rivits for the fuel line p clips through the steel floor the as i could not get the rivit gun onto the tube as the diagonal prop shaft brace was in the way. so i wont have to cover them with and stupid rubber things then.

its as daft as covering forward facing bolts with plastic covers...

its ok to take the persons leg off with the exposed suspension, as long as its clean, in one go and without any scratches ( wrapping with antibacterial wipes woudl also help to clean the wound once the lower leg has been severed )

If they protrude too far below the bottom of the car the SVA man gets funny but its length not edge radius....
