Blyton in the Indy RR
WillisRR - 4/9/16 at 08:36 PM

Had a fantastic day at Blyton last weekend. Was great to meet Nick and Mark. The car did me proud, no heat issues like i had at the other track days and was able to get out for some proper stints. Tyres are certainly a little old and off now but it didn't matter really. Main thing i can't wait for is Procomp set up early in October. At the moment it is a fair bit off 'optimal'. Pretty hard work actually but damn good fun! Will be great to get back there after setup and maybe with some ZZRs to see if i can better my time. Few different vids of the day>>

Fast Lap (for me)
Not optimal but one of the only clear laps i got in being such a busy day!

If the timing is accurate a 68 is very good around there! Similar to what I was doing in the radical a few years ago.
At the msa sprints in the Jedi I've done a 64 from standing start on the sprint circuit which is slightly shorter than a full lap but your not allowed wheels over the yellow curbs or white lines which narrows it down a bit!
Have you considered competing in it? I'm sure you'll do well

Jeez 64secs is mental! Totally agree that my lap is a little cheeky haha! A very high 68secs and exceeding track limits on numerous occasions

Thanks means a lot that! I would love to compete but the time and financial outlay just don't really make it applicable for me at the moment i am afraid. I have so much fun on track days, i do hope to compete soon though!

Sprints are a similar cost to track days but unless you do javelin events you'll need small safety gear.
You'll be quicker than most.thats for sure
