Fuel Filler Hose

Hey all

I'm looking to move my Fuel Filler Cap but need some more hose to reposition. The Hose that's fitted won't bend to a new location so may need some flexible hose.

Looking on eBay it seems very expensive for a meter of hose, can I go to the local scrap yard and get some hose, what car would provide the best hose to remove. Looking for a 38mm ID Hose!

Jason.

Thanks Ste, I saw that late last night.

I've noticed that there are no filler Caps with a 38mm neck, so need to get a reducer from 51mm to 38mm.

you need fluoro lined silicone for fuel.

I may have a small length of 50mm fluoro lined hose you can have, then if you get one of these reducers

https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/de/cnc-alluminium-reducer-50mm-to-38mm

you can then use the 38mm flexi hose i showed you before.
