Not sure if there's a lot of point in carrying a card, they will ask your next of kin anyway, and if your NOK says no then it doesn't matter if you are carrying the card, they still won't take the bits they want.

You could use the new "Poll" feature of the web site to find out.. . .

PS I don't and don't intend to. . .

I liked that! Made me laugth. At least I know im making an impression, good or bad!

I looked in my wallet a few years back and found I had 3 in there, dated over 10 years.

What puts some people off is that they take the organs when you are still breathing with a heartbeat.

Anyway, isnt this about the wrong kinda donor!

In the short term, if you cant give yer bits, why not give blood? Im a fully fledged 10 unit gold card guy.

You never know I might need it back one day if my chassis welding wasnt what I thought!

I do and so does the wife (and she is a scrub nurse, so she is there when they harvest you)

Do you think it would be possible to extend the scheme so that owners of Mk1 & 2 Escorts can offer to donate their running gear in the event of their demise - Far more useful than any of those yukky bits I would have thought.
