Hi might seem a silly question but I have a oil catch tank which gets hot and smells do I need to empty it, cheers.

How full is it and how quick did it fill
yes you should empty it also check your oil level
what engine is it ?

Hi had the car 3 years never empty, went for mot the guy noticed the catch tank, the engine is crossflow, thanks. the oil level in car is ok.
