Fibreglass filler

Hi, I have some 'fake' shutlines that were moulded into my mev replicar bodywork, doors and boot etc.. They are around 2mm deep by 8mm wide. What do people reckon would be the best filler for this prior to paint.

Cheers

| would use isopan P40 its a fibreglass based filler you need to put a filler on top to smooth it off

that stuff is very coarse. I have used upol fibral which has finer strands and works a treat on all sorts of jobs. Think it only comes in largish size though (had mine a few years now, still OK)

as that is just down the road from me.....

That looks just the ticket presume I just use a standard body filler after that. cheers

Depending on flex you might be better off with P38 rather than P40...
