2003 r1 5pw engine. I would like to know what the triangle shaped bracket is on the right hand side of the cylinder head (has 3/4 star drive bolts)

Is that the right hand side of the cylinder head looking at the exhaust ports or the inlets?

Got a pic? I can't see anything like that on mine.





Unless maybe you mean the cam chain tensioner (yours will likely look different)?

right side looking from the inlet ports. where is pic 2 you have 3/4 bolt holes theres usualy a triangle plate. just wanted to know what it is for really
