Fisher Fury Rebuild Blog
HI guys,
Just thought I would put a link up to my new blog for my fury rebuild. Ive never made a blog before so any feedback would be great!
A question to any of you running similar sites how do you guys drive traffic to your sites? If anyone would be kind enough to add a link for my site

very interesting,... better to do it for the right reasons, rather than how I did it,.. crash, and then dead engine,...

Hi Alan
the rebuild looks good - but what engine is that V6?
Building up your site traffic takes time but content and relevancy (and regular postings) is one part of developing a website that Google will rank
well.
It's a bit of a black art but look up SEO (search engine optimisation) will give you some good basic principles. Posting on here / links is very
beneficial too!
French blue is a good colour choice by the way ! :-)

Mark i'll have a look at the settings, it should have comments open, It has just let me know your a follower! Oh and I havnt forgotten to phone
you, just been mental here with work, I go away next week so will try and give you a shout before then.
Richard: its a 2.5 v6 out of a ford probe / Mazda mx6. Its using an adapter plate connected to an mx5 gearbox. I cant take credit for that though,
Clairetoo on here is the mastermind behind the combination. It will be running triumph 595 throttle bodies...eventually! Buy as you can see, a long
way to go yet.

Howard; I rebuilt the engine entirely and it was my first time doing so, it may well end up being dead anyway! Lol

That will be an amazing sounding car,.. good luck, and that french blue is a fab choice. Looking forward to seeing it on the road.
I am sure that the engine will be fine,. mine lost all oil, and then threw a conrod out of the sum,...  It is halfway through it's rebuild,
finding pocketed 1.6 zetec pistons has been the biggest challenge

Nice writeup - but didnt that engine allready have a shortened sump and pickup on it ?
Gotta say - I fell in love with that bodywork first time I saw it , and have given thought to re-building mine with that and a fresh (possibly
turbo'd) V6..........but I'm just so busy with Mx5 stuff these days

Hi claire,
Long time, no speak. Ive got the shortened sump you made, but its got quite a fee pin holes in it and was weeping slightly. I plan to either get that
re welded or to use it as a template to cut and shut the New sump.
I've seen you've been quite active over on miata.net glad its working out for you.

I quickly realised tshirt, shorts and trainers with no socks wasn't the best welding attire!!!

Get some overalls and preferably some leather boots. The sunburn from welding is nasty and won't give you a nice tan.

Thought I'd post a quick note to say I'm still keeping up with the blog, although progress is slower than i'd like as an impending
wedding and baby are eating up funds fast!
I have had quite a dramatic change of direction though and the V6 is now sold and an st170 engine sat in the garage ready to take its place.

To be honest it wasn't an easy decsion to make, but primarily because of everything that was going on this year and the v6 needed loads of
custom bits making up which I dont have the money for. Whereas with the zetec everything is off the shelf so ia alot simper and may mean I actually
get the car finished!

Dave I got them direct from Steve at fury sports cars. What type of brake pedal do you have at the moment? Is it tandem cylinder or twin?
