First start in nearly 4 years

I should have videoed it. I have watched loads of first starts over the years. Some splutter into life others straight on the button.

So my 4age BT has sat unstarted for 4 years. I have done work on it through that time so it's been wheeled around once a year or so.

I replaced the battery about 18 months ago and have had the trickle charger on it. I put new oil in and a filter. Plugs out, a trickle of oil down each cylinder and turned over for 20 second or so. I put fresh fuel in and hit the start button. It fired up immediately 😁

I am so happy right now. To hear that running again is lush. I'm shocked it was so easy to start after so long.

I need to finish off some minor things and then I'll get it on the road again for shake downs. Hopefully get done track time this year.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

fabulous news..... hope you keep the smile on your face and keep working on it.

I'm jealous it was so easy, i've spent weeks coaxing my xflow into life. It starts now but only runs for a few seconds with me carefully blipping the accelerator.
