Scotland & Outer Hebrides

I'm currently on the Isle Of Lewis in Stornoway, and wondering if there's anyone else out here?
Leaving via Harris on Thu then spending a couple of days in the Cairngorms.

Inverclyde for me (just the other side of the Erskine bridge) I think I'm the closest you'll get on this side?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I just left Lewis on Saturday, had been there since the 11th. had some great (although not that warm) weather. It was completely different to what the mainland was getting, thankfully.

First time I've been over there and I will defo be going back once I get the car built.

Calanish/Harris

Well worth a visit to Calanish to see the standing stones and down to Tarbert and a loop around Harris to see the beaches around the west with dramatic views to Taransay............enjoy.

Went to the stones last time (in laws live here o Stornoway)... It's like a smaller more disappointing stonehenge!
Weather pending we'll be going out for a drive towards the west coast tomorrow. Went down to Tarbert today and across to Isle Of Scalpay. Properly desolate, but some beautiful driving roads.
