Jago Owner's Club?

Hi.
I'm a new member and the owner of a restored 1984 Jago Jeep.
Being a retired I needed a project to keep me active and am personalising it to my liking.
What I need to know, is the Jago Owner's Club still active?
I sent off a membership form and cheque but haven't yet received reply.
I've emailed them before sending application and received an email by return stating new members welcome and fees as per their website.
Since then I've emailed them but no answer.
Any existing JOC members can advise me?
Checkout my Jago Jeep on my Flickr site: https://flic.kr/s/aHskdfn5De
Thanks

Hi Jackannory,
Welcome aboard. It was me who restored this Jago in 2013. I sold it in Sept 14 to a guy in London. Nice to see she's still being used. Did you receive the disc containing the rebuild photos when you bought it? It's undergone a couple of modifications since I parted with it by the looks of things.
The Jago owners club were slow off the mark when I joined them too. They should still be active.
Nick

Hi there

The jago forum is just about active to be honest, it took a while for my application to go through too.
As said Pm Badgirl

Look forward to seeing more pics and updates on the jago forum
Greg

Thanks for your comments, have uploaded some photos of Jeep taken last week after winter check over and tidy up.
Replaced tyres, seats, new rear lights, jerry can and repositioned spare wheel.
Interior re carpeted, boot locker box fitted and "ghetto blaster" speakers replaced by small speakers mounted on roll bar.
Mechanicals checked over and found in very good order but some electrics needed redoing.
Temp and Fuel gauges now reading correctly and Reverse light now working.
Still a few minor jobs to do but should be ready for Detling in April.
Thanks again Ron

Nice looking jeep I'm sure you will have great fun in it. As mentioned above you just need to be patient. The club and Web site always has slowed down over the winter. When we first got into Jagos about 15 years ago the club was struggling. A new committee formed and for a few years there was a renaissance and membership increased.
We were pretty active and bought and sold quite a few jeeps and lots of spare parts and contributed to the Transmissions magazine and forum as often as we could but the decline of kit car shows hasn't helped as they tend ded to be a natural meeting point. As with all small clubs personalities come and go and the mix of members is constantly changing sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse!
We are looking to get our old Ninja jeep back but will need to move on one of the TR7 s first so we may well see you and your jeep one day
