IVA tomorrow, what should I take?

Evening all,

I've got my IVA test tomorrow and just thought for peice of mind that I have everything ready to go for the morning
So far I have

- letter of appointment for IVA test
- all original receipts
- original photos of build
- insurance certificate (for plod)
- socket set
- pliers and spanners
- spare bits of trim
- knife
- duck tape
- electrical tape
- full tank of fuel plus 2 jerry cans
- spare water for coolant just incase

Can anyone think of anything else worth taking?

Thanks in advance and wish me luck
Greg

Well I have break down cover which covers any car I'm driving through AA, not sure if it would cover the kit car though lol
Although luckily I do have a mate driving down in a van for moral support and to take tools etc down

Double sided adhesive tape saved me having a fail.

Forgot to say best of luck, and enjoy it (yes, you can).

Speaking of cameras, don't forget to take a copy/piccy of your IAC when you pass 'cos they'll keep it when you register.

Depends when I did my SVA I got told to take all the plumbing foam off of the front arms as it wasn't "permanent" and promply failed on shape edges that in protected..... So alot depends on the IVA tester.

Bit of Luck, be curtious and go with the flow.

That's right, it has all changed with IVA. All padding/covering has to either permanent, or if on a serviceable item removable without destroying it, and the equivalent of OEM.

Yep all pieces like that have removable closed cell foam wrapped around them and held on with a popper for serviceable use

elastic bands.

These saved me from a fail. During SVA test I had to run into the nearest office and beg the receptionist to give me 6 red elastic bands. This was on the advice from Mark at MAC#1, Used them for a throttle return spring on the carbs. and it passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also wheel nut spanner, he might want to check the stud threads have enough threads engauged.
