Maxey Classic Car Show

This show is between Stamford and Market Deeping, and as there seem to be quite a few LCBers in this area, I was wondering if anyone was going to this show? Its on this Saturday and is free for drivers of interesting cars and just £3 for passengers and drivers of other cars.

I have looked at past Youtubes of the event and it seems to have attracted a gaggle of kit cars in the past. It also seems to have a relaxed atmosphere and I cant see any restrictions on when you can on cant move your car within the event area. As you say the weather is looking quite good so I am also looking at going to it.

If you turn up on your own do they place you with other kit cars, or do they just place you next in line with whoever else has turned up?

I've been a few times (as visitor).
From what I have seen the vehicle movement is fairly relaxed and I think they do park you, but if you wanted to move, there is no reason why you can't stick yourself nearer other similar cars.
But most saloon cars were together, off-roaders together and sevens etc etc.

Its a cracking little show and cheap for a few hours entertainment.

Went along and met a mate with his Tiger. Really good show, nice location and able to drive in and out whenever you needed to. Will go again next year if the weather is OK.
