Log in/log out question?
Alan B - 3/8/02 at 04:49 PM

Chris, (or anyone) what is the disadvantage of being logged in all the time? Sometimes I can switch off, come back later and still be logged in (cos' I never logged out ), anything wrong with doing that?

Cheers,

Alan

I don't think it makes any difference.

Cheers

The log in/out thing is really for people who use a work computer or other situation where another person could use the machine. Leave it logged in and they can post stuff under your name. On a home machine it's not really an issue.
