MX5 poly bush set
belgian2b - 27/10/15 at 03:56 PM

Hello,

i soon will start building a MX250 kit based on a 1990 MX5.

the car drives good, but i was thinking that i would change for a full poly bush set.
i did that on my Tiger and it gives the car a better feeling when driving.

Now, i have been looking on the web, and i found different providers with a huge price difference.(from around 100 £ to 300£ for a full kit)

So what would you recommend ?

Gerardo

plenty on nutz about bushes but a lot is rubbish so you decide on who you think knows what they are talking about.
i read up on it over a couple of months and came to the conclusion that the standard rubber ones were best for comfort and reliability, poly best for show.

Personally I would pick superpro, its what Iv been installing.

Personally I would stay with standard, for a 25 year old car you'll still notice a massive improvement but it'll be cheaper and you'll avoid all the issues seen on Nutz. For every broken wishbone seen on here, there is an equivalent on Nutz. And binding bushes are more often than not the cause.
