MGF - Ideal for cheap summer toy / Donor
My dad is selling his 1997 MGF, it is now surplus as he has recently bought a new Audi A3 Cabriolet.
Good bits
12 Months MOT (only an advisory on rear tyres starting to perish)
91k miles
Private plate (originally on a P plate)
No issues with overheating / HG
Hood has no rips or tears
Sony MP3 CD player with AUX in
Not so good bits
O/S/R has some lines visible through the paint, it looks there has been some repairs in the past and it the filler has shrunk
N/S/R sill has been patched, not the tidiest job
A few bits of lacquer peal, the worst being the n/s mirror and front bumper fit doesn't seem great
Gear selector could do with some bushes
My dad has owned the car for several years and it has never let him down. I have driven it recently and it pulls well, it had new brake pads front and
rear last year along with clutch slave and master cylinder. Ideal for some cheap fun over the summer or a good donor.
