Bike can

With all these bike cans going cheap on ebay, is there any reason why I can't use one?

Post SVA of course.

Will be fitted to the end of the downpipe collector so will be more in the middle of the car so no problem with the short exit end bit.

How cheep is cheep?,

I know a company called Essex Racing do stainless silencer cans for around £35!

Trouble is the inlet on some of them is about 2 1/2" which might be too big without a reducer

As seen on a Nova near you

I'm using one. Bikes are so quite that their silencers seem perfect. Mine is a little wider than I'd like though. Make sure you get a slip-on. Mine is a three bolt with a flare--a bit less than idea. Still, you can't beat a $10 can.

Bike cans are quite common on BECs.

I've got a good condition ZX9 carbon one for sale - has the inlet reduced down for standard manifolds, and the outlet pipe changed for a more curved one.

Make me an offer if it's of any interest. Rescued attachment DSCN0843.JPG

Are they all re-packable?

Jasper, thanks for the offer - I like the short standard end pipes that they have so will your little bend come off?
