trackday exhaust

What end cans are you BEC folk using to get the cars on track? I think mine will be too loud so might get a couple of bolt ons to make it pass the noise limit. Ive got a Yam R1 5vy engine with dual side pipes

You've got two silencers?

Mine passed track noise OK with a 5inch Westfield silencer, no chance with a single bike can!

If you have two you might be OK

Two with inserted baffle in the end will be fine, the baffles are very cheap too. Have a look at this on eBay so see what I mean 391180590351. Just make sure you get the correct diameter.

Why not just use two standard bike cans? I've got a standard Titanium ZX9 can on my Phoenix and although I don't have a noise measurement for it we have been OK on trackdays.

Cheers for replies.

On a cheap ebay noise tester they were 93.6db so a bit under the 101 static.

Anyone had true results with the cheap ebay testers?
