It certainly started my day with a smile when I read the scorecard this morning

Looking at the way things have been going, it certainly looks as if England are going to win a third match by an innings & plenty

I used to play golf with a guy thats was top level cricketer (I think, at least thats what he said LOL) and then became an umpire.

every weekend in the clubhouse he told great tales of matches or did his amazing jethro impressions

I listened with great interest, smiled and nodded

but still dont have a single clue about the game LOL


oh ok, just out of interest I googled him and it appears he was a name LOL

Roy Palmer, I know nothing about circket but I can tell you that he is/was one of the funniest men I have ever met, and an amazing after dinner speaker, also played a mean round of golf.
