I want 8 bits as I have modified my trusses for more headroom in the garage, what are they called and where can I get them ?

Looked at screwfix and drawn a blank

Cheers Mark

Gang nail connector or plate.
Screwfix do stock some basic ones, other than that I guess it's a truss manufacturer.

An alternative is ply nailed both sides. manufacturers use nail plated cos they gan be pressed into place with a hydraulic press quickly - they do a whole truss at once.

Ply gussets are just as viable all you do is make them 3 times the size out of 6mm ply.

IIRC TRADA have details on their site
