FS: Locust 1600 XFlow

The time has come for me to part with my Locost. I have loved owning it and it's great fun to drive however relocation and other projects force
the sale.
£3750 (includes 12 months MOT and 6 months tax)
- Mk2 Escort running gear
- 1600 XFlow engine
- new master-cylinder (Summer 2010)
- Webber twin-choke DCOE 40 carb
- Head skimmed and rebuilt (Winter 2010)
- Rewired from scratch with custom loom (Summer 2010)
- 17" alloys and new tyres
- New body and respray by previous owner (also includes what's left of the paint for repairs if necessary)
- No windscreen but perspex screen included
- Lightweight fiberglass bucket seats
- Stainless side exit exhaust
- First registered 1998
- Currently SORN for the winter

Locust uses a complete Cortina front suspension rather than wishbones and I believe it uses a wooden chassis? Locost uses a spaceframe chassis with
fabricated wishbones and coilover shocks

In which case, yes it's a Locust with ladder chassis and Cortina uprights.

Cerrtainly is a Locust. says it in the intro. Tidy car but you can get a half decent Locost for that dosh I am afraid to say.

Price reduced now asking £3K.
Tidy car, great fun to drive but has to go as moving house!
