Hi all Iv just spoke to cradley Kawasaki .. They have just said you have to use the original key and barrel as there is a security device in the barrel that can blow the ecu ? Is that true or do they said that so they can charge a fortune .. If so is there a way around it ?

Iv had a bit of a problame with the coils today as I have found out that they are dead
Hope some one can help me ? Dan

You're not having a lot of luck Dan!
Have you put the 100 ohm resistor in the grey wire from ignition switch to ECU? The security device in the original barrel is a 100ohm resistor

Some good advice in this thread http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=85055
Follow it until the end, then check the links in the thread.

Tell me about it mate it dosnt help when you get the engine of someone who hasn't got a f@ckin clue lol ...
If for any reason it's bypassed dose that mean the ecu is dead ? Please say no lol haha

No, the ECU will be looking for around 9volts, if it sees 12volts it will sulk
Sent you a U2U.
