Ah...... Is it a Beauford or something like that?

Beauford ... basically a ford cortina bashed into another shape.

my daughter had one of those for her wedding car, its a Beauford which is Ford based and the original cars used doors from a mini!

spot on !! You two were very quick ! We looked at a few cars before choosing that one .It looked fantastic.we didn't actually realise that it was a kit car until we were chatting to the owner after we had chosen it .So quite appropriate for us to be driven in a kit car on our wedding day !! - nick you three !!

Tis indeed a Beauford, and I think they used a lot more of the said mini than just the doors. and yes Cortina based as well.

Although some have the usual Ford and Rover V8 engines, some had a Nissan straight 6 for some bizarre reason. Perhaps from a Laurel, remember them?

The back end is moulded from a mini from just below the window line to the door opening.

The hardtop version looks really weird, and obviously a
Mini

This one sounded really nice . It was definitely a ford v6 engine but can't remember which one . It was a lovely car !
