Fiat X-19

The Fiat X19 used to be a nasty rust monster - I know there are a small number of enthustiasts who have still got one, but I came across one in almost perfect nick in Llandudno over the weekend ( I was visiting my son who has had a bit of bad luck with his car - it needed a bit of fettling ).

Yes, I loved mine.
It's beautiful in an ugly way. Looks even better with the bumpers removed.

I gave mine away for free last year to make way for the kit. Was an absolute pile of junk. i had planned on restoring it until I saw good condition ones with very little rust, tax'd n tested for about £1500. Was no point in wasting my time. So I gave it to a bunch of enthusiasts for spares. May she rust in peace.......

I had one 28 years ago and I put pooh in the engine bay.

I was 3 and it was a 1:43 toy.

Saw this nicely executed conversion last year. Wouldn't mind one like that myself

Guy used to rallycross one at croft years ago. Well down on power compared to the rest in the class, bit the handling was spot, very balanced.

He always carried more speed into the bends trying to keep it on the hoof, neither under or over steering

Compared to the minis and novas which were temperamental.
