Front Coilover Upper Mounting Bracket Position

Hi, looking to get rolling... needing some advice about where to position the upper mounting brackets for the front coilovers; have searched photo's and every car seems different (outside edge of chassis rail/ under chassis rail/ multiple holes/ extended brackets... helppp)

What should i consider to make the decision?

thanks in advance for your thoughts/ advice/ sharing knowledge

To a certain extent is will vary depending upon your wishbone design and shock length. Shock length will alter where on the top tube you need to mount it, but aiming the shock at the tube centre line is the best option as it will reduce any twisting, if it's possible.
