Dimensions of Zetec SE/Sigma and gearbox?

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has dimensions of the Puma/Fiesta engine and gearbox assembly? I'm trying to sort out the positions of my inboard wishbone pivot points and they're pretty much dictated by which bits if engine are in the way.

Cheers!

As luck would have it, I have a puma engine in my garage. What dimensions would you like, over all sizes?

This is why LCB is the best website on the internet. Thanks!

yeah overall 'space envelope' dims like eng and box total width and depth, height of engine from lowest point whether gearbox or sump, but also if possible the distance from the driveshaft output centre line to the front of the eng and box assembly, if that makes sense (ie if you looked at the car from the side, how far is it from the middle of a wheel to the front most part of the engine).

Thanks again
Nick

Right, the length of the engine and gearbox is 900mm
the height is 620mm
the width is 650mm

If i have understood you correctly, the distance from driveshaft CL to exhaust side is 150mm and other way towards inlet is 500mm (150+500= 650width)

Obviously allow a bit extra onto my dimensions.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need any more.

Cheers
