New owner

Afternoon all.
I'm now a proud owner of a westfield sei wide with a 4age 16v engine the car has been in storage for some years but the engine runs and the chassis looks good so im pleased with that.
Points that need attention are brakes, suspension, new battery and a good clean etc then off to get a mot. Im sure i will find more when i start looking properly.
So be ready for some dumb questions and i will try to post up some pictures once I work out how.

And no such thing as a dumb question, every day is a school day.

I'll be very interested as I also have a pre-lit and a 16 valve 4age beside it waiting for a rebuild before fitting. I'd be interested in any pictures of the engine installation.

all we need now is some pictures of the aforementioned car and then it will be an official "new car" thread

not sure if these pictures work, I've managed to upload them to my archive

anyway as you can see it needs a good clean, you can see that I have given the front passenger cycle wing a wipe and it looks a lot better.

i don't think I'm going to use the weather gear as it doesn't really fit with the rac roll bar so i may just make a half roof to keep the rain off if needed
the custom boot box cover is coming out ( the seller has the original boot box, vinyl seat and other parts that im collecting in the next few weeks)

running gear is westfield front uprights cortina callipers on the front and sierra callipers on the rear
Im going to need discs and pads all round any idea which ones i will need? and I'm going to give the callipers a overhaul

the wheels are 14" would 13"minilights or car's fit over the callipers?

It looks good - any pictures of the engine bay?
It would be nice to see a picture of the engine mounts.
