Donor for a BEC??

Well I did it again. I really should NOT press those buttons on Ebay!
New toy with a good sound track for next summer.
I'm thinking if I dont like it, I could always use it as a Donor for a BEC

Just got it home, and here is the obligitory Locostbuilders Video:

LINKY

Before anyone mentions it. My next job is to book a Rusty Rider course. I recon I'm all but siezed up!
Its been 30 years since I had a bike. Hence me not wanting a 0-60MPH in 5 microsecs Jap buzzbox!!
A plodding Cruiser is plenty fast enough for me!

Mines still for sale if anybody is interested, 2002 883 Sportster, got all the goodies, screen, panniers, alloy wheels. Just needs a bit of TLC to make it shiney. 10700 miles, just had full 10K service. £2800 OVNO. Cheers Ray

To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

Bugger, I saw that one, and dismissed it.
If I had known it was a LCB'r I would have been more interested.

Although I wanted a 1200cc and post 2004 bike to get the rubber mounting's etc..

Sorry!!

Yes can understand why you would want the rubber mounted engine, Cheers Ray
Edit to add, the one good thing about the 883 is the better than 60 mpg, as against 45 ish for the 1200.
