Zetec sump

Hi Folks
Advice needed has anybody used a shortened 2.0 zetec sump from a black top engine for racing,i see most people go for the alloy one from a silvertop.Any reason why please,advice welcome

If you can afford to race you can afford a sump would be my guess.

There is nothing wrong with a cut and shut sump as long as its done right. its not a quick job.

Hi there. I have a blacktop 2 piece sump if your interested. It's just been taken off my crate engine and replaced with a raceline sump.

Hi John
Sorry only just seen your post. It's a standard blacktop 2 piece sump with the steel bottom pan. it's untouched as just been taken off my crate engine to be replaced with a raceline sump.
Will try and get some pictures up later if your still interested.
