Horn button location

Is there any restriction on the location of the horn button (other than the usual radius dependent on where in the cabin it is)

Presumably it just has to be in reach of the driver?

You don't actually need a horn for SVA.

You do need one for MOT but the tester will only check that it works so as long as it is easily reachable from the drivers seat it should be OK.

I believe you will need one for IVA though.

LOL!! That would seem logical.

If you had to stop the engine, get out of the car, unlock and lift the boot lid to press the horn everytime you saw some totty, it would not be convenient.
