MNR Screen Finally Fitted.
Agriv8 - 20/2/08 at 09:33 PM

Well after a long delay ( namley the rug rat turning up - and the day job taking up far too many hours ).

I have had a day in the garage today and fininished of the fitting of my MNR Screen .

Here are a few medium res photo's ( Yes they are taken at jaunty angle so my roll bar does not look too Tall ).

The wipers ( Mini and 90deg sweep wheel ) and screen wash all plumbed in and working.

If anyone wants more info ( or hi res photos let me know )

I didn't know they did a full screen, looks perfect

That looks really good, looks like you've done a top job there.

May I ask the reason for you fitting it. I'm guessing (judging by the roll bar remark) that you are tall and you got too much wind blast.

Looks very good indeed that.

Stuart I am just over 6'6" and had to wear a full face helmet ( as I could not breath when reaching 70mph ) I suspect the extra deflector may have done the trick but I always planned on a full screen as my MNR is tourer rather than track, 4 bolts and a few screws and the screen is easily removable ( for the track ) .

Havent been for a blat yet but i hope that it will improve things, But I am thinking about making some Half doors and deflectors anyway.

Thanks for the kind words.

Looks fantastic and will certainly broaden the appeal of the car to those that prefer not to have flies in their teeth (big girls that they are). I have a sneaky feeling that MNRs waiting list is just about to get a lot longer!!

Nice Iain!

P.S. What mirrors have you used?

roadboy - 21/2/08 at 10:32 AM

Have you gone soft Iain, I thought you were hardcore. I know what you mean about the buffeting though, I could not see at 100mph till I fitted the deflector to mine, I still get a buffeting though due to my long back & short legs.
