Battery Recommendations

So, my slow starting issue would appear to be battery related. On investigation i have one of these in the battery holder:

Linky

Which i don't think is really up to the job. I'm not sure what its from, but I don't think the CCA is really enough, especially when the shape and size of the caterham exhaust manifold seems to bake the starter when warm.

Before I throw £100 at an Odyssey PC680, I thought it was worth an ask to see what people are using now. it needs to be a similar size as the battery above to fit in the carrier, but I have a few mm play either side.

The engine is a K series 1800, in a Fury.

What are you guys using?

Contact them with your car/engine spec and ask - they'll want to sell you one and I'm sure help you select the right one.

The battery you are using is deep cycle battery not a starting battery
Caterham use a 30ah 300 cca en battery in all models.

Take a look at these
