Robin hood super spec

Hello
I'm new to this forum
I've just bought a Robin hood super spec in the uk
2005 kit
Rover T16 Engine
It was only a track car for the last years and so it isn't road legal yet
I have to get a uk first registration to make the car legal for germany ,because without that it will not pass emission laws here (i would need a euro 6 engine for a new german registration)
The builder said that the car comes with a complete documentation and it was originally build to pass iva
I will pick up the car next month when i come to the uk
I'm searching for a shop now that will do the iva and registration stuff for me that i can bring it to germany some weeks later
Are there shops who do the complete process ?
I should not cost a fortune of course
The Car is in nottingham at the moment.....

You could try GBS (was Robin Hood) in Mansfield, not that far away from Nottingham.

This is from their website :
"We offer a full IVA service for all cars not only the GBS Zero. The GBS workshop team perform a pre-IVA inspection, complete any required work/alterations, transportation to the IVA test centre in Nottingham as well as all the paperwork that is required before/after the test. We also offer geometry set ups, finishing builds, engine tuning, engine modifications, experienced auto electrician, track day preparation and much more. For further details or to book your car in with us please get in touch."

Should be no problem but i hope it's not to expensive
Has anyone here used their Iva service ?

i believe the iva test is around £400 so if you factor in a few days labour dependant on how complete and ready the car is of course i think i would estimate between £1500 to £2000 bill but may be wrong
so the superspec would need to be an absolute bargain to make it worthwhile

+1. Unless you are very familiar with the IVA requirements buying a car unseen and getting a 3rd party who will be charging by the hour to get it through could cost a lot of money.

If it was me In your position I'd buy something already on the road.

GBS will get a Robin Hood through for you, if it has been built well it should only cost the IVA charges and some GBS hours to check and transport.
The IVA test is at least 5 hours

@sj & chris i know what you mea.... but it seems to be in good condition and everything is virtually new 180 miles (no donor parts )
It was finished last year and he took it 3 times to the track
The owner makes a good impression to me (over 1000 positive feedbacks(Ebay) ) and i don't think it's junk
Prices are very different in germany you would have to pay 10k plus for a car like this (road legal)
Anyway 2000 would be really hard ,because Tüv wants his money ,too

First i wanted to build an exocet (i have a miata turbo engine ,6speed ect) but that would be even more stress
because every kit car needs the same procedure plus i have to come with a trailer every time (pickup, built, iva, pickup)

Let's see what gbs says, tommorow
