No April fool it worked fine for me I got 20% off a rake of tools spanners, drill bits, Bahco socket set etc.

how does this work they surely can't force the vendor to take a 1/5th off. Or are paypal doing something with VAT and making up the difference?????????

It comes out of ebay/paypals pocket.
They have similar ones usual emailed and link to a persons account. Last year I saved £50 on calipers for the Striker, year before that I saved £50 on the alloy hubs.

Well not now as it expired. But it would have done if you paid via paypal, and you would only get max of £50 off.

I got £20 of an exhaust and £6 of a tyre for my new scooter. It wouldn't give me any more though. The invoice showed the full amount, lets face it eBay can afford it.
