Scuttle edging

Looking at starting to fabricate my scuttle, chassis is Haynes roadster / 442E hybrid so the glassfibre ones don't fit without cutting & infilling.

Going to make my scuttle by making a frame and wrapping some 1.2mm Alu over it. This will leave an edge above the dashboard, will it be ok to use safe-edge edging strip on this or will it need more radius for IVA?

If it ain't broken, fix it anyway (just because).

Building - BMW powered Haynes Roadster/442E hybrid.

That's what I did

Ali bulkhead
Ali bulkhead

Cut some MDF formers for front and back, spaced out 8" then hand formed the aluminium over it.

In the picture you can see where I made it to deep at the sides so I could hold it secure with a couple of screws before I started to batter down the edges.

Thanks Mark, I like the look of that - great job.
