Decibel meter

I’m pretty close to being ready for Iva, I can have everything tested ie brakes emissions etc at a local garage but I can’t get decibels tested and really don’t want to have to spend money on one so does anyone have one I can borrow or know whether the free app type are accurate any help greatly received?

There is one in android store I compared to one they use at the track and it was pretty accurate. About 95-98%

But you can buy them on the bay for under £10 and these are more accurate.

I have a decibel meter and have compared it with the apps (Sound Level & SoundMeter) on my iPhone.

They are within 1 or 2% of the meter I have which in turn has been checked against cars at IVA including my own.

Hope this helps
