Brake Fittings Suppier

Hi All,

Need more help from you peeps.

I need 3 banjo fittings for my brake circuits.

Bolts need to be 1/8 -27 npt and the banjo should be able to accept a brake pipe nut.

I bought some a few years back but can’t find any now even on EBay!

Anyone know a supplier in the UK?

Thanks for reading.

Rally Design do a lot of stuff like this. Beware of their cheeky postage prices though!

Hi,

You can not have a 1/8 NPT banjo bolt, as it is a tapered thread, so you can not tighten the banjo. 1/8 NPT Banjo bolts actually don't exist for this reason.

You would be lucky to find a male 1/8 NPT fitting, but if you need it angled, as it will be non swivel, and because of the tapered thread, you will not be able to chose its orientation.

You will need a male/male adaptor (NPT to JIC or NPT to Metric, very compact ones exist at 45° or 90°), and a JIC or Metric female tubular fitting on your pipe or hose.

(Be careful not to mix up 1/8x27 NPT wit h M10x1.00, which are very close threads, but not at all identical)

Good luck!
