Rear shock extending and link arm touching chassis

I am looking to lift the ride height by about 25 mm. I have bought some longer top hats for the Protection dampers. The problem is that with the extra length the link arm from the hub to the chassis will rest on a chassis rail when you fully jack the car up. The hub will sit lower as the shock is longer. The car would have to fully take off for this to happen on the road. Would this be a mot problem? Could I fit a small bump stop at this point?

I can't help thinking that you don't want the suspension to go down and touch the chassis at all.
How about check straps like some off roaders use to stop axles from dropping too far?
