More brake woes

Can anyone give me some advice on what the best way to tackle copper brake pipes?

Is it best to...
a) get a rough length, cut length, flare one end, bend to route pipe, possibly cut excess off and flare other end.

b) flare one end, bend to route pipe, cut to length and flare other end.

c) try to make some sort of 3d guide from garden wire then match it with brake pipe then flare both ends and fit.

I'm finding it difficult stuff to deal with when it's a 25ft coil and it's not very easy to get to bend where I'd like it.

Any advice would be very useful.
