which brake master cylinder?

Apologies if this has been asked many times before but a quick search did not turn up anything.

I have sierra xr4x4 brakes that will be put on my anglia, they are -

Front - 260mm vented disc, single pot 60mm caliper
Rear - 253mm solid disc, single pot 43mm hand brake caliper

The standard master cylinder is a dual circuit setvo 7/8" bore.

So, can anyone recommend or identify a master cylinder that has -

Dual circuit (front and rear), 7/8" to 1" bore, non servo, actuation arm with clevis to connect to pedal, ideally a bukkhead mounting face with horizontal bolts holes approx 3.25" apart.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers, think this is what caprisport recommend but on the capri 2.0l servo, numpty question, how are you planning to connect it to the pedal?

Cheers, much appreciated, does it come with a plastic/rubber boot to stop the rod moving about, I guess if you add a strong spring to the pedal to keep it in place that may do it.

The Honda frv one also looks interesting with a 15/16 bore, but reservoir looks at a bit chunky.

Edit - even better the civic one with remote reservoirs Honda civic 2003 master brake cylinder

Merlin motorsport is where i got my brake push rod and clevis pin arrangement.I used the sierra master cylinder, without servo and the decelleration valve with good results(no rear lock up).I am using the smaller 8inch rear drums rather than the bigger/heavier 9inch ones though.

Andypg, many thanks for the reply.

I scrapped an MX6 which has similar size brakes to the sierra (well it is a ford probe underneath and was half way between a sierra and a mondeo) which I salvaged the master cylinder off it. And totally by chance the mounting boss and size fitted very well. After dismantling the servo I managed to find a way of mounting the pushrod and clivis joint in some rubber tube in the end of the cylinder input shaft thereby giving it some flexibility to take into account the arc motion that it goes through. This is 15/16" diameter which is close to original XR4x4 7/8" servo master cylinder.

Good reminder for me to find a deceleration valve, did you find this hard to set up or is it easy to find the right angle ?

Here's the result -

Here's a pic of the bits now they are all cleaned and painted

And a quick mock up of the brakes caliper on the upright (upright now off for machining to fit the discs)

It fits nicely under my Pug 205 GTI pepper pot 5.5x14 alloys and when I get the uprights back I will try my 13" RS 4 spoke to see if it will fit under that (probably not).

I fitted the decelleration valve as per the angle it came off the sierra, which was about 30 degrees i think(12 years ago!).I remember the rears locking up when in damp conditions,so i twisted the angle to about 20 degrees which is where its been since. No lock ups.I am running the smaller 8 inch rear drums, not the larger 9 inch drums which stops transit vans fully laden!

Thanks, will plumb one in, my 253mm solid discs on the back may well need one, but it is slightly heavier car at aroung 750kg.
