westfield rear uprights breaking

anyone here'd or have experience of Westfield rear uprights braking ?

yes sorry for the bad spelling was in a hurry and did not read through

I was talking about the uprights cracking

You mean breaking?

Only remember reading on here about some MK steel ones breaking, that was on a indy running slicks.

This can happen if you hit a large pot hole or a severe dip where the suspension bottoms out. There are no bump stops on my Westfield so some caution is necessary on public roads esp if you are horizontally challenged or two up or both. It happened to me on a 1987 V12 Jaguar once (even with bump stops). It went airborne and landed badly all 3 tons of it at some speed also.

They'll certainly take a Sierra/Golf caliper under 13" wheels with no issue.
