Propshaft centre support.

Want to build a 2 stage propshaft for my 6x6 truck after seeing the setup on a ww2 American deuse and a half aka the 'jimmy'

So looking for a suitable bearing pillow block thing with a internal 6mm shaft diameter for the middle.

Was thinking of using a rose joint but will it take the rotation ok?

Is this for a model?

Why not just use a 6mm pillow block? Personally I wouldn't use a rod end.

Davie

Yep, big 6x6 out of a wheely king.. Smallest bearing block I could find was 8mm but changing my search to a 6mm internal bearing has turned up a company called Motionco.co.uk have a bearing in a block which I've just bought. Now just need to machine a shaft to join 2 props together.

Cheers.
Steve
