Ford Sierra Steering Rack Spline pattern/size.
Hi Guys.
I need some help with finding the right steering UJ please.
I have a 1990 (J) Ford Sierra rack in my car and I need to find the right spline pattern so that I can make a new steering column.
The column started off using a modified/lengthen version of the original sierra one like this:
I need to replace the lower end (left side) with a universal similar to this one. Most importantly so the bolt will lock into place to the cut out on
the male splines:

If it helps the Sierra Uj spline is the same as the mk 2 Escort , from memory I think it's 14mm x36spline but could well be wrong
