On the front of my Luego i have cortina uprights with the classis maxi balljoints and transit draglink tops m18 iirc. But i have massive camber and if
i unscrew them im worried there will not be enough threads in the arm... here's a pic of the camber and where the thread goes to at the moment

Why not unscrew it until you have about 1mm of camber and then check how much you have in there. Then make a judgement?
Lock nuts were normally supplied with the arms. Failing that a good nut & bolt stockist would have them.
Are you sure the wishbones are suitable for Cortina uprights?
They might be designed for Sierra uprights?
Yeah classic. I had it the other way. Cortina bones and Sierra upright. It looks like you have Sierra width bones and Cortina upright.
which luego chassis are you using ?
the velocity xt uses sierra uprights..
not sure about the locost chassis wishbones

My Luego Locost uses Cortina uprights . IIRC Lolocost sell the lock nuts. If the end of the thread is level with your thumb in the second piccie I
would have thought you have enough thread to adjust safely . Adjust it and recheck!

Its a Luego Velocity with Locost GRP and i did spec Cortina Uprights when ordering... i hope they got it right 
There exactly the same length as
the rears if that makes a difference. It just looks like there will only be an inch left in the arm if i wind it out which i would have thought would
be unsafe with heavy breaking. hmmmmmmmmmm now im worried. lol
A safe minimum of thread engagement would be 1.25x the thread diameter. This would be 1.25x18 = 22.5mm.

wow that sounds very little. not sure i'd be happy with that breaking hard from 150mph+ lo maybe ill adjust and double check
