1m^3 = 1000l

(0.2*0.265 + 0.21*0.275) * 0.625 = 0.06921 m^3

so thats 69.2l

[Edit - miss read the dims....]

yep it's 69.5625 litres

mad4x4 - 31/5/12 at 01:32 PM

625 x 475 x 200 gives 59375000 mm3
625 x 210 x 76 gives 9975000 mm3

total = 69350000 mm3 = 69.35L

this is becasue 1 mm3 = 0.0000010L

I read the small dim as a 75mm, not 76mm,
so 69.218750

Cheers folks, with the swirl pot it's gonna be a 72L fuel tank! should be enough for a 2.5L engine during something like the Birkett.

you dont say if these are internal or external dimensions,

if they are external, and you use 2mm thickness, it is about 3 litres smaller, 66.4l
