db killer - IVA friendly?

Whats the chance of this passing IVA? Or taking it and sticking it in the exhaust if it is too loud?

I suspect it will be at the discretion of the tester....it could only be fitted after the emissions have been done...

Just fit one of these,

DbKiller linky

can be fitted without significant loss of power & I've had no probs passing emissions with one in

I fitted one of those from Russ, after failing my first iva on noise, worked a treat and knocked 6db off.

It's fallen off now though

It's mild steel so I'm sure a bit of pipe and a welder the outer bit could be made to fit in a 3 inch pipe.

i made up a baffle and put it inside the pipe before the silencer. drilled a small hole through the underside of the pipe and put a rivet in to hold it in place.
