Steering Column Thread ?

Could anyone tell me what thread is used on the end of a Sierra steering column ??

After SVA, I'm planning to screw on a quick release hub (and then bolt through in position) so I need to find out the required thread spec....

TIA

Matthew

sorry to go off topic, but are you doing this because a quick release boss isnt SVA friendly or for another reason?

I believe that the quick release mechanism isn't an SVA fail in itself, but using the original Sierra steering wheel makes life alot easier....

sure sierra column thread is M14 x 2.0.

Had to buy a replacement nut a while back Ford don't even stock them !!! Only went there because I wasn't sure if the nut was special in any way. They said nope just a standard M14 nyloc. So local nut and bolt stockist sold me a couple for a quid.
