Carbon Fibre

I'm considering wrapping the dashboard in some kind of carbon fibre. What's currently considered the best stuff to use? Thinking of using 3M Scotchprint 1080 CF12..... but don't currently know what else is available. Any recommendations?

Personally I'd stay with the 3M, an average dashboard has curves and edges that need a flexible wrap.

I have got these guys bookmarked;

But I've not used them yet. It was more the fact they do iridescent wraps, and I'm a fan of TVR cars...

Buy the best stuff you can afford. As with anything car modding related; the Chinese can always make some thing worse and cheap!

I wrapped a striker dash, pics in my profile area, which is the most complex dash you will see. It looked amazing when 1st done but after asummer of direct sunlight and track days it started to look crap. Concave areas that were really stretched to meet the contouring became unstuck.

If it is flatish with convex corners only then you should get nice long lasting results.
