'nearly complete'

Only the trip to the scrap yard needed to complete.

nick205 - 20/4/18 at 10:08 AM

Not really a looker is it!

Don't mind the MR2 as a car to look at, but that makes you wonder why you'd spoil it.

theconrodkid - 20/4/18 at 10:36 AM

groovy

dinosaurjuice - 20/4/18 at 11:34 AM

I don't think its THAT bad.. does that make me a bad person

pewe - 20/4/18 at 11:40 AM

That is so fricking fugly I think they should be paying someone to take it away.
Can't begin to fathom why you would waste your time doing it...
Cheers, Pewe10

Mr Whippy - 20/4/18 at 11:57 AM

looks like nothing else on the road yet still obviously a MR2...

what a shame as the MR2 is a very nice looking car, especially the MK2

with all that foam in there, turn it upsides down and it makes quite an effective boat

ian locostzx9rc2 - 20/4/18 at 01:27 PM

O dear !!!!!!!!

HowardB - 20/4/18 at 01:49 PM

I like the description - finished in primer and with leather seats - not - very clearly 80's velour.
Not sure when one might drive that - only in the dark?

Cīmon guys...
I can see everal cases where you want that car...
Cannonball Run is one...
Being hired as an extra vehicle in a futuristic movie is another...
Used instead of a Morris Marina in a Piano-crushes-car scenario in a re-run of Top Gear...

See if you can come up with more...

rf900rush - 20/4/18 at 04:28 PM

At least it's described correctly
"to look like nothing else on the road"

rf900rush - 20/4/18 at 04:31 PM

Must be national ugly car week LINKY

Ugg10 - 22/5/18 at 11:09 AM

And another for the list -

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YKC-KIT-CAR-V8-3-5L-CHASSIS-NUMBER-001-AFTER-RESTORATION/132614213811?hash=item1ee06c50b3:g:x2oAAOSwlSda8GF2

YKC Romero (I think or possibly a Julietta, hard to tell) but has had the full 1970's custom car treatment.

mad really when YKC act5ually did a pretty good job of making their own "hot" rod style car in the YKC Raider.

First thought was that this just looks like a Marlin...!

theconrodkid - 22/5/18 at 06:15 PM

that ykc ^^^^ comes up as a green sierra

swanny - 23/5/18 at 08:19 AM

the more i look at the ykc the more confused i get.

there are individual bits that i quite like, but tigether it makes my head hurt

Mr Whippy - 23/5/18 at 11:44 AM

That's an early a Marlin without the normal front wings fitted

That's a shame, as the old Marlin was quite a pretty little car. Mind you, you'd never get the original wings over those V8 pipes!
